Everytime I see stuff like this I just can't help think that being a responsible consumer is more a manifestation of a person's desire to define themselves than it is any sort of practical concern for the environment. It seems very vain. Its not to say that our intentions are not genuine; we all mean well when we worry about stuff like recycling. But it just simply doesn't make much of a difference. As the chart suggests, the potential for big reductions in trash rests with the manufacturers. <blockquote>Since 2007, McDonald's has reduced the weight of its containers for the Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, and Quarter Pounder With Cheese by 25 percent, while increasing their unbleached fiber content by 71 percent and recycled materials by 46 percent, saving an equivalent of 161,000 trees per year. While there will inevitably be some growing pains during the move, I'm hoping that things should go smoothly. None of the content from here is going to be migrated to the new site. So there is now a toggle tweets button above. But the more I think about it the less I think we may need it. I've made it so at most only 12 tweets will appear on the front page (after some use, I'm sure we'll want to tweak this.). And there will always be at least 10 posts on the front page. We now have a list of users currently logged. You can view a list of all the registered users. Unless you're an Admin, you can't do Admin stuff (essentially you aren't able to edit/delete other people's posts and comments). You can now add a banner in your profile.
